This could be pit-able, but I’m not in a grouchy enough mood so early in the morning. In GQ, xiix asked about how his “computer technician” could offer a pirated copy of Norton Antivirus, given that NAV “phones home”.
If that “computer technician” was a friend, I probably wouldn’t do anything (I have to admit that there’s limits to how far I’ll stretch my ethics), but if that “computer technician” was working for a company and appeared to be pulling that stunt regularly I would very seriously consider letting Norton know about that behaviour and letting them nail that company if they so choose.
