Reading Kodak Picture Disks.

My father has a dead PC with a pile of “priceless” photos of his recent holidays with my mother. He gave me the source of these photos - a pile of Kodak Picture Disk floppies. If I try to read them all I get is: No ID address mark was found on the floppy disk.

I have never seen this error before and wthought perhaps I need some proprietary Kodak software to read the suckers but searching the Kodak site has availed me nought.

I have the ignorance anyone have the antidote?

Is the HD dead and gone or is it the PC it’self??
Perhaps the HD can be copied or ghosted.

Are these discs that were recorded in/by the camera? Or made when the photos were printed, and from what?
Any Kodak photo processing unit at local stores should be able to read the discs.
