I saw this this weekend in a nearly empty theater and it was a shame the theater wasn’t more full. It is a fun thriller that is almost a dark comedy. It reminded me of another underrated movie from a few years ago called You’re Next. If you like comedy thrillers you should check it out.
Yeah, this movie isn’t getting much buzz, but I, too, enjoyed it. Well, as much as you can say you enjoy a horror / suspense / dark comedy.
It kept me interested. I thought the acting was fine. The story was entertaining even though it wasn’t wildly innovative. For people who like horror movies, I think I’d recommend it.

Definitely a fun ride and Samara Weaving is great. I was also reminded of You’re Next which I consider a positive. Before the movie there was a trailer for the upcoming Knives Out with Daniel Craig, Jamie Lee Curtis, Chris Evans, Toni Collette and Christopher Plummer (among a large celebrity cast) which looks like it could be similar fun with murderous rich family shenanigans.
