Let me start off by saying that I’m not much for Reality TV, unless, of course, it’s Candid Camera, which I absolutely love. However, while working on the 'puter at home, I typically have FOX on to watch the syndicated shows. Somehow I got sucked into Paradise Hotel. Normally these shows just repulse me, but there I was, getting sucked in and not being able to look away.
While most of the behavior is absolutely juvenile, I have noticed a few individuals that I want to use as rolemodels/anti role models.
Keith is one, who, under all sorts of duress, maintains composure, and treats people with respect. Of course, then there are the 20 somethings who act like they are 12 year olds, and those become my anti role models.
I don’t know that I’d watch the 2nd or 3rd incarnation of paradise hotel, but this one sucked me in, and hopefully, I am learning some good perspectives on how i want to be perceived or not to be perceived.
I told my coworker I’d try out for it next year, but I’d have to buff up, I’m afraid.
