Really Good Advertising Jingles & Slogans

It’s better than bad, it’s good!

That reminds me of Volkswagen’s ‘Fahrvergnügen’ commercial.

I’ll nominate"

Aren’t you glad you used Dial. Don’t you wish everybody did?"

If there’s something I need to do, I’ll spend way too much time debating with myself how to do it, and do I need to do it today; would it be better to make a list; should said list be written out by hand, or a spreadsheet, maybe on the computer… and I have to remind myself of Nike’s classic slogan:

Just Do It.

We’re Having Beefaroni 1966. A classic.

:musical_notes: Mystery Date, are you ready for your Mystery Date? :musical_note:

:musical_note: First you start off with 2000 and a car (I got a car), you got a car
Then you work(?) your way through college just to get a lot of knowledge (Harvard)
Or to business, it’s the same, you’ll go as far. (I’ll be a star), you may go far.
You will learn about life when you play the game of Life.
(That’s life!) :musical_notes:

From memory, some words are probably wrong.
Bonus tidbit: I believe Martha Plimpton was one of the kids in the commercial.

Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce,
special orders don’t upset us,
all we ask is that you let us
serve it your way!

Have it your way, have it your way!
Have it your way at Burger King!

In all the years I’ve been eating at fast food places, I’ve never seen a cashier as hot as this:

Just think of what she looks like now… :slightly_frowning_face:

Yep. I lived in San Diego from 1950 to 2005. When I met the future Mrs. Cretin in 1969 she lived a few blocks from Pearson Ford.

I’m watching a documentary about Edwin Land on PBS right now. Barry Manilow did indeed write the jingle for the Polaroid Swinger.

I generally liked that Pearson ad because it had the name, pride of quality and location in two sentences. Yet I also liked the apparently live musicians singing the jingle. I wonder if that’s a rare occurrence now that ads are generated.
