Wow, just wow. I could look through it forever. Been to a few of the places in India, but that’s it. I do recognize many of the places my parents have been to in Pakistan & Sri Lanka.
And then there’s the rest of Asia, too. With descriptions of the places even. I really suggest you all check it out.
That is a totally sweet site! Thanks for the link. I love how they’ve mapped out the buildings of the temples in Japan (at least-- need to look around more). When I was studying Buddhist sculpture I’d have to draw a little map of Todai-ji or whatever and a little Nandaimon gatehouse and map in my little nio sculptures and such to remember where they were. And they do Ryona-ji! Very cool.
Great, great link. Thank-you. A few in India and Vietnam are familiar - I particularly loved Fatehpur Sikri, Humayun’s Tomb (India) and Hoan Kiem lake (Hanoi). Oh, and the Cross-island highway in Taiwan. Wow, I stayed in the Grand Hotel there!
