Really, how destructive would a Trump presidency be

Texas has skated awfully close to a Republican supermajority in most recent electoral cycles (meaning that they can overturn a veto or filibuster outright without Democratic support),and even had one in 2010, and despite that they haven’t managed to wreck the place outright yet. It’s not a done deal yet though, considering as much of a mentally challenged fool that Dan Patrick is. If anything, the state is doing well economically, although not in other metrics.

The South is the SOuth, and it’s been the South whether run by Democrats or Republicans.

You’d have to incentivize it, like a NFL contract. Give him $10M extra for every point of approval rating above 50% when he leaves office or something.

(Not that he’d ever sniff 50% anyway…)
