If the original 7 players can play on the 18th, I’d be fine with GMing. I think I have a decent grasp of the system.
I’m still down for the judge. I think having someone adjudicate spells disaster at that speed.

No, I meant I’d be the GM with the Judge, so that 1) there wouldn’t have to be a sock puppet member risking getting ‘blacklisted’, and 2) one member wouldn’t have the temptation of being able to see the other’s moves in advance.

CC sent me an email apologising, said he lost power in his house for the whole evening.
I don’t think we should be so hasty. Maybe his computer crashed. At least give him the chance to explain his sudden departure.
As far as the GM thing, with two weeks to get it ironed out ahead of time I’m confident that there will be a workaround for the UDDP sock-puppet problem. And the ‘temptation’ to look at people’s orders really isn’t an issue.
If you’d prefer to GM, Wikkit, that’s fine. I’m not clear on how many people we have for the 18th. If we’ve got 8 I’m happy to be the (Judge) GM/alternate in case of a vacancy. If we have 7, I know there’s a way to have the Judge run the game without an actual GM, and now that we have some time in advance I’m sure it’ll work out fine.
Also, I want to thank Ginger for bravely volunteering to swallow her pride and help us out when we needed a player. Dave, you lucky guy.
