I seem to remember seeing a This Old House episode a few years ago where Steve (or Norm?) visited a house factory over in Europe, and I’m pretty certain I’ve also seen segments on factories here in the US that fabricate houses that are assembled on site.

Me, I’m glad there’s no need (yet) for lipid runners (although NYC’s transfat ban makes me uneasy), and that they can’t give you the death penalty for running a red light.
