Is there, this year, a Republican Party candidate for President of the United States other than George W. Bush? By candidate, I mean someone with a serious possibility of getting on the ballot in at least one state primary. I know that Bush is popular, but not universally beloved by members of the GOP, and I wondered if somewhere there was a quixotic challenger out there.
As I plan on voting in the Democratic primary here in Illinois, I am only asking out of curiosity.
