Some months ago, I posted about Rebuild, a turn based browser game where you recruit survivors, research, and fight zombies. Didn’t get a lot of response, but it is a pretty good game IMO. I started playing Civ this evening, didn’t feel like dealing with a lot of micromanaging, and had a nice time playing Rebuild 2.
There’s been changes to skills and you can now scavenge equipment and assign it to survivors. Graphics and sound have been prettied up. Some nasty events have been added-- I suddenly lost five tiles to one-- but happiness seems much easier to manage now.
Plays like a boardgame. Takes an hour or two to play, although the smaller map option would probably cut that down.
