[Definition: Rebus, n., a word game in which pictures or word placement are used to convey meaning]
So in California we have Purple Heart license plates. I think you actually have to have earned a Purple Heart in battle to be eligible, and some people use them for the various “I Heart Whatever/Whomever” combinations on their license plates. But yesterday I saw a new one–a hand. A little picture of a hand, right in among the letters of the license plate. And the complete license was "R<hand>DISMOM. It took me only a moment to figure it out…it was “Randy’s Mom”.
So what’s the deal? Will we see other parts of the anatomy on license plates? Arms? Legs? Noses? If you have that type of license plate, how do you write it down on a form when asked? How far has this gone?
