Receiving pictures of other people and/or their kids

My husband is obsessed with taking photos of our kid. Every August, he gathers the thousand or so photos he’s taken (not an exaggeration), selects the best ones and puts them into a Mixbook, a hard bound volume that briefly highlights the stories of the year in our son’s life. He spends weeks working on this thing to get it right. Then he gives it to our family members for Christmas. Mostly grandparents and great-grandparents and my Aunt.

I thought this was silly at first, but now I’m really glad he made these. They are short enough to easily browse. My son loves them too. He likes seeing his own story. The relatives always look forward to the next edition. Grandparents eat that stuff up.

They also get school photos in the size of their choice, either framed or just the photo so they can cover up/remove last year’s - upon request.

I’m an Aunt-to-be and you can bet your patootie I’m gonna have pics of that kid all up in my house.
