They sell kalamata olives cured with lemon and red pepper–they’re in little plastic vac-packs and cost less than $2 each. My husband says they’re the best olives in the world. We have a dozen packs in our pantry because we were told they’re a limited-time item.
At Christmas I gave away little jars full of fruit, nuts, and honey. The figs and nuts were arranged around the outside of the jar to look super pretty; I just couldn’t resist. Unfortunately the center is packed with crushed peanuts, but what-evs. Still soaked in honey, still tasty with cheese. And by the way, their plain blue cheese–the cheapest kind–is SO good.
