Sure, everyone has heard of those channels but quite a few people don’t watch any of the traditional broadcast networks. Some only watch the streaming services (which might have some shows from the broadcast networks, but usually later).
I didnt ask if people watch the shows, I asked who had heard of which broadcast TV shows had been cancelled, as the various “articles” I was bombarded with were either clickbait or loaded with ads.
SDMB posters are pretty smart, like to help and they have responded. Do you know of any?
If you’re still wondering about which shows were cancelled versus renewed, take a look at this page from TV Guide (remember when that was a print publication?). I think other entertainment sites (perhaps Entertainment Weekly or Hollywood Reporter) have similar summary pages.
Seems from that link The Bear will finish on its final season, number 5. I wonder if anything will happen that seasons, unlike the previous 2.
Every now and then, we get various kinds of promotional swag at the small television station that I work at. Most of it is garbage. Occasionally, something desirable sneaks through. And then you have the goofy shit that we got as a promotion for Going Dutch. They sent us a chocolate shoe – maybe two, actually, but I honestly don’t remember – that was filled with little green gummy candies shaped like soldiers. The chocolate was OK, I guess. I suppose it was on par with the kind of stuff you might be given to sell to raise money for Little League. But you couldn’t have paid me to ingest those weird gummy soldiers. I generally will gleefully snatch up whatever free candy comes my way, but even I have some standards.
