Recipe for ol ghat (eggplant puree of burma) anyone?

There is a little restaurant in Pittsburgh called Spice Island Tea House. When I eat there I usually get an appetizer called ol ghat. I did a search today for “ol ghat recipe” and my first hit was someone trying to duplicate Spice Island’s appetizer :eek:
