Ah yes, Equus zebra, thank you for your kind reply. I should have mentioned that he is a famous person, not my Uncle Edouard. Most likely an artist, author, or scientist. I’m being quizzed by a friend and I’m stymied - thought the dopers might have an idea.
The nose and eyes resemble Walt Whitman, but the hair and beard are too short and groomed and the clothes are too fine.
