I’ve been recently asked to do a couple of Web pages for various organizations. I’m good on the programming part - been coding for 10+ years, and can easily make my way through HTML/php/java/etc - but I’m not the most artistic person in the world, and would like to find a good book on design. General graphic design is OK, one specifically on graphic design for Web pages would be even better. I’m hoping a few of the artistic genes that seem to run rampant in other people in my family will finally show up in me 
What would be ideal is a book that has pictures of different Web pages, with tips on what works and what doesn’t. I don’t want to turn into one of those dozens of people who churn out really ugly Web pages.
