Here is a rather obscure request. Help me find a book on general design of things, that I saw in Barnes and Noble in 2013 or so, when it would have been new. As I recall, it was a pale to medium green color, and had a single item per page with a picture and history/description. In my mind’s eye, I see a lot of black and white photos, and not a lot of color. It was NOT what you would call oversized, like 11 by 11.5 inches, but more like 7 inches by 9, and quite thick, like 2 inches or so.
Alternatively, what are your favorite books on general design (furniture, appliances, dishes and glasses, bicycles, telephones, stereos, essentially everyday items.
