Recommend a good (free) RAM diagnostic program

I’ve used DocMemory from http://www.simmtester.com
It creates a boot disk so you can use it on computers that don’t have an OS installed.

I saved my butt once when I built a machine at work that would boot from a floppy, and format the hard drive ok, but couldn’t make it through the OS installation without an error.
