Recommend a Timer - software for use in a PC

I have a laptop right next to my piano, and I’d like to keep a log of my practicing - scales, various drills, specific pieces of music, etc.

Can you suggest a Timer in a software program that’ll help me with this? I can spend ~$40, but would like to go a lot under that number.
