I’m being asked by my techno-nothing friend to find a timer/logoff program. This would log off the user of this PowerPC Mac at a certain time, and be password protected. Free of course would be best. Any suggestions?
First one I’ve found searching: NIWO Slumber. But it needs Mac OS 10.5.
Kutdown can shut down or restart a Mac, so if it’s not automatically set to log in, that could work. And it’s actually free. (And some text suggests it has an automatic logout function).
Note that none of this software is tested by me. I don’t own a Mac, let along a PPC one.
