Jello – ::hisssss::

I’m outta here.

Ooh! Lime Jello with bits of apple suspended in it as shooters!

…Okay, put that object down, I think it would hurt if you throw it at me, it looks like you want to throw it at me…

Well now I’m thinking about apple brandy jello shooters.

(Don’t worry, not really).

You turn the paper sample cup inside-out as you consume and lick the dregs off the (now) outside of the cup. Maybe a tad messy? That’s what napkins are for.

I gotta go feed the dogs. Good luck.

Jello, ICK!

Hmmm could you sub apples for the water chestnuts in rumaki?

I am the 400th person to endorse this snack.

I had to look up what rumaki is . I don’t see why that wouldn’t work if you don’t mind the apple slice being hot. Get crackin’; we expect a full report ASAP.

Thanks! I wanted to suggest something similar, but I’ve never tried it. And now I have a recipe.

These are super popular at fall and winter markets in Switzerland and German, known as Apfelringe (apple rings).

Apple slices with cheddar or peanut butter are some of my favorite snacks.

I endorse apple fritters. Dust them with powdered sugar and serve with a maple syrup dip for maximum enjoyment.

Mini-strudels? Wrap some apple pie filling in puff pastry, put it in the oven, et voila.

How about something with apple and cheese in a puff pastry. I’d go the blue cheese route myself, but I bet cheddar would do well, too.

Yes, it is a Jewish thing. One of the only fond memories I have from Jewish Sunday school.

Mmmm this intrigued me, so I searched on Google for “mini apple pie bites” and there’s quite a lot of those sorts of recipes. In mini-hand-pie format, crescent-roll-wrapped format, and pastry cup format.

I didn’t look at any of them (just observed pictures) but I bet you can add cheese (blue or cheddar) to the hand-pie and crescent-roll versions. You could also make the pastry cup type and add the caramel dip on top, or a crumble topping.

I didn’t look at the recipes cuz I am hungry and on my way to bed lol

I love blue cheese, heck gorgonzola is my favorite cheese of all time, but it can be polarizing. Some people love it, others hate it. If I was serving this in bulk to attendees of an event, I’d take the safer route and go with a cheddar.

Though a really sharp cheddar might give it a little “oomph” if it seemed too pedestrian.

Apple fries! I took my nephew to Legoland last month and was told the apple fries are a must-have, and indeed they did not disappoint. Legoland serves them in a little carton with a dollop of vanilla-flavored whipped cream, and they’re easy enough to make at home - they even provide the recipe on their website.

Kids like dipping wedges of apple into bowls of variously flavored sherbet. I don’t mind it myself.

What are “jelly crystals?” From the picture, it looks kinda like Jell-O mix powder … ?

How about apple cookies? Easy to eat, not messy. Here’s one recipe but the Internet has zillions of others.

Imagine rock candy shaped like rough cut gemstones with a gummy center. They are originally from Japan, where they are called “kohakutou” which basically means “amber candy” or “sugar amber”.

Mmm, i bet I’d like those.
