Recommend hikes near Eugene, Oregon

I get to Eugene once a year for a convention, and usually it’s a surgical strike: arrive, do what I do, and leave. This year, I’m going to take an extra day or two and do some hiking in the mountains around the town. Could someone recommend some good trails? I’m looking for an 8-10 mile day hike.

How far are you willing to drive? The mountains are about 2 hours away from Eugene. Local hikes is the best site ever for finding all kinds of local hiking trails. I haven’t hiked in the area, but I use that site from time to time.
