Recommend one of these SLC pizza delivery places?

Would you recommend any of these three?

The Pie Pizeria
Wasatch Pizza
Big Daddy’s Pizza

They’re the names I don’t recognize from the list handed to me by the hotel I’m at.

How long are you staying? Unless there’s a considerable price differential, I’d order one from each place over three days and see which I like best. It’s my experience that most mom-and-pop products differ little in quality; on the other hand, variety is the spice of life, as they say.

I only ever ate at the original Pie up by the university when I lived there but they had good pizza. I have never had the others but I hear Big Daddy’s is an el cheapo style place like Little Caesars.

The Pie Pizzeria (AKA The Flying Pie) has the finest Student Dive pizza I’ve ever had. I used to eat there all the time as a grad student at the University of Utah, and I highly recommend it. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I don’t know the other two.
AGFAIK, The Pie doesn’t deliver, but I could be wrong, especially after all these years. But even if you have to go get it yourself, it’s worth it.

The Pie - hands down. Wonder if they offer franchise opportunities, if so I’d open one or more in the Dallas area ASAP.

Am I the only one aghast at the very concept of eating pizza made in Salt Lake City?

dropzone, sort of a Chicagoan

Hey, I grew up in =the shadow of NYC, and I wholeheartedly endorse The Pie.
Bagels now, that’s a different matter. SLC’ers can’t make a good bagel to save their lives. I know – I['ve eaten enough of their attempts. One time they had an International Food Festival in Lincoln Park, and someone told me there was a stand with bagels.

“Yeah, right,” I replied, with no enthusiasm.
“No, you don’t understand – they had these airlifted in from New York City!”

I was over there in no time. Only good bagel I ever had in Utah.
But the Pizza at The Pie is in my top ten pizzas anywhere. Top Five.
