Which of the novels do you recommend for someone who’s just gotten into “Buffy” by watching the DVDs?
I say this as a huge fan of both BtVS and Angel but a lot of the novels are crap. An exception is The Lost Slayer which is in 4 serial parts, but is a darn good story.
