Recommendations for House Foundation Color

Those of you who have a good eye for outside house paint…
I recently had the brick work fixed around the outside of my house. It has been painted several times, so I was planning to paint over it again, both to protect it and make it look consistent.

What would be an appealing color to paint this? My options are limited, since I’m not getting new siding (I sincerely dislike vinyl siding, so…someday), and I am also not repainting the green trim (gables and shutters). It looks like someone before has tried to paint the foundation the same color as the siding. Would that look good, or something else?

If I really had my way, I would take off all the paint and leave the exposed brick, but that’s probably a whole different issue.

I can’t open your pictures as I don’t use OneDrive.

I can’t open them either, but if your trim and shutters are green you have a couple of options.

  1. If you don’t have a garden, paint the foundation green or brown to blend into the ground

  2. If you do have a garden paint the foundation a much lighter color to make the garden plants stand out more.

Damn, I didn’t know you had to have OneDrive to see those; it just said anyone could view it who had a link. Let me try to find a different image host.
