Records you still own

Lotsa places. Well, I haven’t found one in Northern Va. yet, but I’m confident I will.

Back in Cleveland, let’s see, there was:

Bent Crayon, next to the Red Star coffeehouse on the corner of W.117 and Detroit Ave. They sold a healthy mix of vinyl and CD, nearly all new-release small label and indie stuff.

Once Around, across the street. They sold old vinyl.

Platter Puss records, on Detroit around W. 160. This guy was the best, tons of old and new vinyl.

You can also find new vinyl releases at CDNow.com, as well as through various online indie outlets like Notlame.com.

My SO has all of Wham’s albums, and one of the Go-Go’s.

I tease her a lot. . .

My SO and I have about 300 albums between us, very eclectic (he’s 13 years older than me):

Sinatra
Springsteen
Jethro Tull
Beatles (almost all)
Beach Boys
Five Americans
Cindy Lauper
Willie Nelson
Jerry Jeff Walker
Carole King
James Taylor
Linda Ronstadt
The Who
Frank Zappa
The Monkees
George Carlin
The Blues Brothers
Johnny Mathis
Eagles (all)
Fleetwood Mac

and on and on and on… surprisingly few duplicates!
