No–that’s the proof that he’s yanking people’s chains. You gotta stop taking his posts at face value.
No, Mr. RR, you didn’t “hurt my feelings.” You wasted my time with your ceaseless barrage of nonsense.
I’ve never started a pit thread for anyone, but was tempted to do so for this guy. He’s a serial threadshitter, every thread becomes his soapbox to proclaim his hate for Obama. So he’s not going to vote for Obama. Big fucking whoop. People like him didn’t vote for Obama the first time around, somehow we’ll get by with him being on the Dark Side.
Or to just rant about whatever the thread in question might tangentially remind him of. I think that’s my biggest gripe about him: his presence in a thread is nearly certain to make the intended subject of the thread irrelevant.
And at this point, we ought to rename the “Elections” forum the “Recovering Republican” forum. It’s all RR, all the time. It’s so crowded (just by him), nobody in their right mind goes there anymore.
I think Dylan has an appropriate dismissal to this waste of electrons:
I ain’t sayin’ you treated me unkind
You could have done better but I don’t mind
You just kinda wasted my precious time
But don’t think twice, it’s all right
Only if he’s among the 20 percent of high school grads who can’t read their diploma.
Very nice! This is some fine trolling indeed.
Hey, hey now, don’t throw Buyers under the bus with this asshat. Some of us are actually normal, functioning people! In fact, some of us are former teachers!
Oh and RR, please stop shitting on my posts and start your own threads instead. You have my Palin thread so off topic that it has have lost it’s meaning.
With the grenades that you throw in along with the occasional reasoned post I almost wonder if you are Newt Gingrich in disguise.
Your sig line is particularly appropriate here. His defense of his loopy extremist positions is that there people far crazier than he is on the fringes of the Tea party movement, so we have to deal with him. Thing is, we really don’t. Let 'em rant, let 'em stir up shit, and let us get on with our lives.
Just for the record, I’ve got an issue with the whole concept of a “real job” and then him claiming that teaching is not one. I’ve no issue with buyers.
I know, I just wanted to take your post as an opportunity to call him an asshat.
Okee dokee. Cool.
Edit:
Thought I was in a different thread.
Clearly teachers didn’t actually do him any good. Why would you expect him to have something positive to say about them?
-Joe
He goes on about how superior his Catholic education was. I’m not sure his teachers would agree- it seems on of their objectives would be to instill a lifetime Catholic faith and they seem to have failed in that respect.
Are there any benefits to my member joining a union? (Besides the improved chances of it sodomizing children, of course.)
A penchant for molestation, perhaps?
As someone who went to a Catholic school for some years, you want to know the bad thing about it? It’s quite geared toward improving your critical thinking skills - something that IME quickly leads to a loss of one’s Catholic-ness.
-Joe
Somehow the subject of this thread managed to do the latter without the former.
I’ve quit reading Elections entirely because of him. He’s morphed every thread into the same set of rants and responses. At this point, I wish they’d lock all the existing threads and just let us have a clean slate.
I wondered how long it would be before this douchebag got pitted; I knew it wouldn’t take long.
Y’all have the meaning of his name wrong, ya know. He’s not recovering from being a Republican, he’s recovering his Republican-ness, at least in his own eyes. Myself, I don’t think he ever actually strayed from the party line much at all.
I have to admit, I was confused by the name as well, especially considering some of the odd positions s/he was taking on stuff. Yours seems to be the best explanation I’ve seen.
