(This is borderline factual vs polling, but I’ll start here…)
Last week, a friend had a heart attack. He had a stent placed last Thursday, and went home from the hospital on Sunday. Today, he went back to work. He’s an electrician, so it’s not like he’s got a sedentary desk job.
Is such a short return to work schedule common?
My father had a heart attack (minor) on a Tuesday had angioplasty and stent put in on Friday and come home from the hospital the next day. It was the week of Christmas so he didn’t go to work for a week after anyway, but the only limits the doctor put on him was no strenuous (heavy lifting, running, etc) activity for 4 weeks I think.
