My favorite Thai restaurant serves this, and it has a very unique (good) flavor.
It tastes like dust to me but my wife loves it. We bought some at the local asian food store and it was labeled “Thai tea.” Exactly the stuff. Just remember to get good quality condensed milk. We bought what was on sale in the same store and had to throw it out.

Showed the photo to my Thai wife, and she says it just looks like tea. She suggests you ask the restaurant.
It’s supposed to be Ceylon tea, but sometimes they use cheap black tea and add red food coloring.
