Reeder vs. december

Reeder couldn’t kick Decembers ass on the ass kickingist day of his life with an electric ass kicking machine.

I stole that.

If you were to base the fight on each participant’s view of the opposing participant’s ideology:

Reeder would spend the entire fight trying to figure out how to take the profits from ticket sales and fund subversive organizations that want to protect the environment, unions, the NEA, and minority organizations all at the expense of decent, hard-working, God-fearing folk. Reeder would also spend the entire fight trying to shakedown the more affluent members of the audience with the goal of promoting drug use, teen pregnancy, and governmental largesse and distrust.

Meanwhile, december would spend the entire fight looking for ways to cheat the boxing regulations, witnessing to the referee in a fire and brimstone manner, and trying to subpoena his opponent for transgressions from 20 years ago. December would then tire of pussyfooting around, pull out a large assault rifle, and proceed to kill Reeder along with every minority, homosexual, poor person, elderly person, and child in the audience, all while wrapping himself in a flag, humming (The Battle Hymn of the Republic", and throwing partially used cigarettes on the bleeding corpses.

Agreed.

Actually, Reeder would post a link containing some news-story vaguely related to Bush, with the comment ‘Opinions?’. A horde of conservative Dopers would enter the fray, saying ‘WTF’ and ‘Why is this guy still allowed to post?’

Then december comes along, and makes a post consisting of longish quotes of previous posters, interspersed with comments like ‘Very good point’, and remarks on the anti-semitic nature of the link Reeder provided. Then the liberal Dopers drop in, pointing out that while the OP is obtuse at best, there is no anti-semitic content to be found. One of the liberals makes an off-hand remarks about

  • gun control
  • Florida election
  • Iraq
which triggers a response from the conservative camp, consisting of a discourse on infringement of constitutional rights, the private responsibility of citizens for their own wellfare, the biased worldview of liberals or a similar subject. This evokes an even more impassioned response…

In the end, the hamsters are overworked, the respective groups retreat from the thread licking their wounds and waiting for another opportunity to clash. And Reeder and december. They’ve already gone on to start another thread…

The problem, of course, is that neither is ever properly prepared.

What if other SDMBers join into the fray?

It appears to be a moot point.

Reeder wins as december is no longer with us.

Maybe it would be better to have this thread closed?

Closed at the request of the OP.
