Refrigerator drawers

We have a new fridge, and the top drawer has ‘humidity control’ (a sliding gate that opens and closes). Since we use more meat and cheese than vegetables, that’s where the meat and cheeses are. They should be in the bottom drawer. But that’s beside the point.

Assuming I move the veg to the top drawer, is it better to set the gate to high humidity, or low?

most veg have lots of moisture and can mold if they stay in a damp atmosphere.

BUT you don’t want them to dry out and become limp, either!

Put the control in midrange to begin with, and see how your veggies respond. If they turn into science projects overnight, then you need to reduce the humididididididity.
