Ok, these are just a few random questions I have that may or may not be answerable about Reign of Fire.

  1. When Quinn’s ‘adoptive son’ came back and met him in the field after attempting to run off and help Van Zan, had he actually met up with Van Zan? Why did he come back? :confused:

  2. When Quinn (I think it was Quinn) found what looked to be a dragon’s egg inside of the dead dragon, what did he do with it? Did he put it back? :eek:

  3. Why, oh why, did the special effects people feel that it was necessary to Blue Screen Van Zan against a blue sky when all they had to do was either squat down and film him or have him climb a water tower or something. Was it the last day of shooting, raining outside and they couldn’t wait another day or something? It weirds me out a bit. :confused:

  4. What exactly was Van Zan attempting to do when he lept onto the male dragon that was flying toward him. At first I thought he was attempting a midair gutting, but then FWOMP … head on collision and the axe goes flying. Did he miscalculate the dragons velocity or what? :smack:

  1. No, he never met up with Zan. he came back because, well, who knows? He knew his place was with the castle and the people and not off fighting dragons and jumping out of helicopters.

  2. He made an omlet with a bit of dragon meat and some tomatoes he just picked.

  3. You have to admit, the blue screen made his jumping at the dragon look a whole lot cooler (sillier?) than it would have with a normal background, no?

  4. He was just trying to distract it from eating the girl. The thing was coming at him, he had no more exploding weapons, he was toast. That kind of guy isn’t just going to go out with a whimper, he wanted to do some damage before he went down. That’s the way I took it.
