Relative usage of shampoo vs. conditioner

I always use both. I know you’re not “supposed to” shampoo daily, but I do anyway, and my hair doesn’t mind. I just love the feeling of squeaky-clean, wet hair.

You people who use the same quantity of shampoo as conditioner have got to be wasting shampoo! I mean, who cares, an extra few teaspoons of shampoo won’t break you, I’m sure, but you must not need that much. Me, I use probably about 3 teaspoons of shampoo and close to a half cup of conditioner. But my measurements are probably way off.

If the cheapest brand (with coupons) @ HEB is shampoo+conditioner, I’ll get that. If it’s just shampoo, I’ll get that.

I don’t ever think I’ve bought conditioner as a stand-alone product. Maybe in my 20s, sometime?

Used conditioner when I was in my early 20s, but haven’t since. I suppose I used about equal amounts.

Now I’m in my early 60s; I get my hair cut short (to what was a Navy regulation cut when I was in) twice a year, and shampoo it twice a week.

I don’t use conditioner every time I shampoo, so my conditioner lasts longer than my shampoo.

Me, too, and it made my hair feel unclean to me, so I stopped. I sometimes find myself stuck using a hotel shampoo that includes conditioner, and I always regret it.
