Theravada Buddhist
I believe that spirits exist, and that they can interact in limited ways with this world, and that when our bodies die, our spirits can continue to ‘live.’
I believe that every religion on this planet has got it sooooo wrong. Some are sincere, but most of it is power trips.
I believe that although individual spirits seem to be discrete entities, that in some way they are all connected, and are in fact a part of a greater whole. That unity is the closest thing that I come to for “God.” (“Thou art God” - “So, who isn’t?”)
My above attempt to explain it is pathetic; there are no words in English to describe what it really is.
Oh yeah, I used to say, “There’s no mistakes in the Universe,” meaning that what happens is what was supposed to happen, but upon introspection I think it’s more like, “There’s no accidents in the Universe,” meaning that we are a part of the Cause.
There’s no name for this belief, and I don’t proselytize, but I will discuss via email.
Christian (independent, fundamental, evangelical are some terms that could be used to describe the church of which I’m a member) - converted from a position that wavered between pantheism and agnosticism.
Athiest. (has anyone compiled the results?)
Athy, athier, athiest. Hard as diamond.
I do, however, have extremely well-diluted soap. All-one!

A touch of agnosticism, a pinch of atheism , a wee bit ‘o’ amorphous “spirituality” that has nothing to do with any organized (or disorganized) religion I’ve ever encountered…and all this is mine, and mine alone. There is no possible way that any other individual could possibly share in it with me, or anyone else. Such stuff is as unique to each individual as each individual is unique.
atheist
Raised variously under Seventh Day Adventist, ex-Roman Catholic New Age, Lakota (Sioux), old Scottish*, and Eckankar. Currently somewhere between multicultural pagan and agnostic, although I do celebrate Jewish holidays with my wife.
*I mean really old. My stepfather was born in the 20s. His father was born in the 1850s. His father was born in the 1780s. They followed a sort of druidic tradition, passed down from father to son. Plus, they tended to have their sons very late in life.
Religiously Inert Atheist.
Episcopalian
Lapsed Catholic; now a deist, wobbling between christianity and agnosticism.
(I took a web-based religion identifier: answer a list of moral/theological questions, and it puts you in a denomination. Turns out I’m a Quaker. Who knew?)
Christian : Protestant : Fairly conservative : Actively practicing.
