As long as everyone’s of age, it takes quite a bit more than 12 years before it gets creepy in my book.
I have one ex whos 14 years younger, and another whos 20 years older. and some how all 3 of us managed to survive such insane relationships. (no not at the same time, just giving the extremes)
If I watched Heros, I think the age difference might strike me as a bit creepy because that guy looks a lot older - in his pictures he looks older than 30, I mean. I didn’t realize how young she was until I was watching Calista Flockhart’s new show a few days ago and thought “I wonder what happened to the cute little kid they had play Ally McBeal’s daughter the last season. She was a good actress.” and it turned out to be her.
I heard this news some time ago, and the first thing I said was, “No wonder Peter and Claire always look like they’re going to start making out any minute.”
If they get hitched, “Ventimiglia-Panettiere” will be quite a mouthful. As for the onscreen romance, I put that in the same file as Princess Leia kissing Luke.
While a 30 year old and an 18 year old doesn’t skeeve me out, all of the “I knew there was something going on in their scenes” comments are, considering she was only 16 while shooting the first half of season 1. I don’t think there was anything going on there, though, so I believe you’re just imagining it. They haven’t had any scenes together since they started dating, have they?
I never read anything into their scenes either, really. She was young and he was good looking and just saved her life and is the first super she’s encountered. Crush! As far as Peter is concerned, she was cute but Peter kinda likes everybody, being an empathic sort and he looked just as likely to make out with his brother most of the time, frankly.
I think the writers of Heroes are aware of slash fans and how to titillate them.
He looks more likely to make out with his brother at any given moment. Or Christopher Eccleston. Or both. Mmmm.
So Milo is only allowed by the manners nannies to date 22-and-up girls. What about 21? 21 and a half? Technically creepy? Close enough? Where’s the line? More importantly, who cares (other than jealous commoners), and why do the manners nannies think it’s their business?
She turned 18 last August, and it wasn’t until December that the rumors she was dating Milo started. I believe last summer she was still dating Stephen Colletti, who is 21, for those to whom it matters.
