Well, whaddaya know!
I’d completely forgotten that I started a thread about that case.
But still, the real crime, as Sal Ammoniac said, was that “This Administration gives out $300 million contracts with about the same amount of oversight as you might get from a person handing out Halloween candy.” The government’s decision to actually prosecute someone who disappeared large chunks of our tax dollars seems to have been an exception, unfortunately.
Nah, I have more oversight handing out Halloween candy than that. I have two bowls - the good stuff for the kids that are too young to shave and dressed in costume, and those peanut butter toffee things for the “kids” who think its ok to show up at your door either in street clothes or having drove themselves (or both). And I turn off the lights around 8 or 8:30 - whenever the kids become a trickle of kids - because its the older kids who trick or treat late.
Maybe my next job will be handing out arms contracts for the government.

Oh Look! its a cute 7 yr old dressed as an international arms dealer. The Limosine with the Bilderburger license plates really shows the effort you put into the costume… Here is your Chocolate bar and 300 million dollars! Such a cutie!
