Remember Trek Blue Prints they scanned them, all of them!

Wow, complete scans of every major ST “Blue Print” set ever produced including the original Enterprise set that started it all.

Friends I can remember when I first received the original Star Trek blue prints as a Christmas gift in 1975. For a geeky kid who was into trek at the time they were just fabulous. I can still remember spending many an hour going over every square inch of every sheet. I still have the set as well as the freighter and Dreadnought. As time passed others copied the format and issued plans for every major Trek vessel and piece of equipment shown in the series, some were “official” releases and some were fan produced. I still remember the adds for mail order purchases of these sets in the back of Starlog and Omni.

Cool, but for the 1973 Franz Joseph blueprints of the original USS Enterprise (TOS), there are only thumbnail images.

I found my copy of the '73 blueprints about a year ago. Neat thing to run across when rummaging through boxes of stuff that hadn’t been opened since the late 80s.

For some reason only the last one is clickable, however they’re all online:

(change url to sheet-2, sheet-3 etc).

Yeah, if you look at the URL and edit it a tiny bit, you can get the higher resolution version.

Wow, I had a set of these when I was a teenager. Cool beans. Bowling alleys on deck 21 for the win.

Huh. They would’ve been useful to me last weekend when I was building a 3D model of the Original Series bridge.

No Defiant and no D’deridex? I give it an F.

Cool! I actually own these.

D’oh! And these!

The Defiant is here.

Actually, they’re not. Only the first sheet is clickable. For the others you get an odd message about how the site is shutting down for an extended period.

And trying the trick of either changing the number or the the URL from the thumbnails just gives you a 404.

I will also point out that the other image links are all pointing offsite, so I don’t think the message is legitimate.
