Backstory: IT Support shut off OpenVPN last night, and everyone had to switch to FortiClient. Couldn’t get it to work, so I had to get into contact with IT. Because of things going on here, it took a while; but I am finally connected to my office.
Now the issue: I wanted IT Support to see my computer and control it remotely. They were able to do it when I had osX Mojave. They were unable to see my computer this morning, which is running on osX Big Sur, using ConnectWise. We can’t seem to find a way to get around that.
How do I let IT Support see and control my computer?
IT wants to connect to my computer today, so I’m bumping this question.
IT was able to take over my office computer via VPN, so the current crisis has been averted.
The issue that prompted this thread was that I couldn’t connect to VPN. That was resolved when I discovered something I needed to click. (Don’t know why the IT guy didn’t ask about that.) Just in case I have VPN issues again, I will need for IT to have access to my home computer. Thank you for the link. I’ll run it past IT, as I do not want to mess everything up as long as it’s working!
