So, I’m wondering if we aren’t asking questions. Lately, the majority of the Straight Dope columns have been reruns of posts dating as far back as 20 years ago.
This bothers me because there has got to be more current topics that need addressing to help educate the public. Look around, there are some seriously ignorant people out there. And there are also some seriously curious people out there to.
I sent an email to Cecil a few months back, calling on him to hold a contest encouraging people to send in their best questions. Questions that would benefit someone somewhere. Maybe give away a free autographed copy of his book or something.
Well… that idea was ignored (for now), but I wanted to call upon all of you guys to submit your best questions here… as if it were a contest… so that Cecil can look through here and pick some of the cream of the crop…
Take a look around at all of the ignorant things going on… and submit your questions here… so he will quit rehashing questions from 1978.
