Rep. Jack Kingston of Georgia on Bill Maher: Jesus what a fucking dumbass

I count only two.

As for the topics… scaring the world about global warming and protecting your use of the race card to score political points do have some things in common.

You know when the race card gets played? When someone says something racist.

No one here is defending the intelligence of black ladies because doing so accepts the racist and wrongheaded premise that black ladies aren’t as intelligent in general. Let’s argue about how often you beat your wife instead.

Global warming happens to be a fact, and yelling out “race card” does not mean you didn’t say something racist.

Creationism vs. Evolution, Global Warming and Black Ladies in Congress. I believe your count is slightly off.

Well, no, they don’t. Feel free to prove the preceding assertion wrong.

Not caring about a member of the national legislature being a creationist is pretty inane.

But what if you put race card in bold? Does it work then?

Sure they do. Both of them are non-sequiturs wrt people who are pointing and laughing at What the … !!! in this thread.

Yep. I stand corrected.

Listen you mushed-brained disgrace to conservative thought, you were the one who brought up race and you’re the one who. . .

Waitaminit-- what does scaring the world about global warning and using the race card have in common? I mean, besides you using the terms in the same sentence?

The vast majority of scientists believe global warming is a serious threat. You can always find a guy or 2 who don’t believe. But they have no parity. The naysayers should be read. But they should not have the same status because they reject so much science to prop up their beliefs.
Should an occasional ambulance chaser define the law profession? Should a bad doctor bring the medical profession down? Should a doctor who believes in weird medicine get the same treatment as the rest? They all have their followers. But the body of evidence refutes their position. Most likely, the climate deniers, ambulance chasers and weird medical professionals should be grouped together as the anomalies they are. They do not balance the equation.

What I think What the … !!! is attempting to do is to say that racism and Global Warming are fake bogeymen (yeah right, in Arizona I get to endure both), if there is any connection among conservatives is that they both deny that there are problems that they (conservatives) are making worse by their constant attempts to make the US government unresponsive to both issues.

What is becoming clear is that climate deniers are put now by men of science and academia in the same column as deniers of vaccines, deniers of the virus causing AIDS and other crackpots.

When I see deniers like Delingpole, it is like watching people like Starving Artist and What the … !!! in action.

(Short piece of the documentary showing that waste of carbon Dellingpole is by being proud of not reading the science papers he then criticizes in articles that are accepted for some stupid reason by mainstream media as points made by an “expert”).

Are What the…… and Starving Artists duking it out for primacy, to be the number one reactionary Ricky Retardo? Starkers got the experience, time in grade, so to speak, a couple years. Also older, the stuff he remembers that never happened didn’t happen a long time ago.

What the… works in short, pissy jabs, seldom more than twenty words in a post, whereas Starkers can rare back and hit you with a tidal wave of horseshit, but since neither ever really connect to anything outside a self-referential universe, its hard to judge the effect. Kind of like shadow boxing, but the shadow hits harder.

Plus, Starkers experience shows in strategy, his rope-a-Doper ploy of dropping a turd into the punchbowl, then returning to his corner and sitting down before the bell rings. Gotta go tape another Most Interesting Man spot, gotta do a quick stint as Wilford Brimley’s stunt duouble. Then when you turn around, whap! nerf-ball rabbit punch, he’s back, no wait, he’s gone…

About the same, footwork wise, neither of them ever, ever slips into the factual or the falsifiable. But **Starkers **relys on the massive, he doesn’t paint with a broad brush, but with a firehose. But What the… offers some variety in redumbdancy, he says a different stupid thing every once in a while, whereas Starkers could have cut and pasted a post from five years ago and we wouldn’t notice any difference.

There can be only one. We hope.

I already don’t notice any difference between any of SA’s posts, but I cheat to get that level of sameness. :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow, you are just plain dumb.

BTW, have you ever heard of the Southern Strategy, or this great quote from Lee Atwater:
[/QUOTE]

(Emphasis also added)

Today’s debate question: does SA figure he’s got so little credibility he might as well just make shit up, or is he just really, really stupid? Or is it some from Column A, some from Column B?

Just interjecting that Lee Atwater (who, btw, was GHWB’s 1988 campaign manager, SA  Remember Willie Horton? He was then RNC Chairman) was an almost unique real-world case of repenting on one’s deathbed. Let’s give him credit for that much, at least.

Even if Ed Rollins said “”[Atwater] was telling this story about how a Living Bible was what was giving him faith and I said to Mary, ‘I really, sincerely hope that he found peace.’ She said, ‘Ed, when we were cleaning up his things afterwards, the Bible was still wrapped in the cellophane and had never been taken out of the package,’ which just told you everything there was. He was spinning right to the end."

One of the greatest ironies is that many if not most of the white welfare and food-stamp and similar government assistance program recipients I’ve known have been more racist, not less, when it comes to blacks getting assistance, eternally lamenting that they’d get more help if they were black.
Two quotes that the OP brings to mind:

I think is has something to do with global warming making Europe more like Africa, which would eventually make Europeans more like Africans, which would show natural adaptation, which is evidence of evolution, which makes humans animals and not God’s Special Creation, which would make What the… and the baby Jesus cry.

But if you keep writing it in bold, that changes everything!

A bold-faced lie, if ever I’ve heard one!
