Just out of curiosity, do you think Maher should have lain into D.H. Hughley when he said that he, too, did not believe in evolution? I know he’s not a congressman, but he is fairly political.

Maher didn’t really lay into either one of them. He expressed a little credulity at Kingston, but didn’t rip into him. Hughly didn’t reveal that he didn’t believe in evolution either until much later in the discussion, and by then Maher had to move to the next subject.

That’s precisely how I remember it. They “laying into” was just following up on the post I was responding to.
