Rep. Jack Kingston of Georgia on Bill Maher: Jesus what a fucking dumbass

You really are an idiot, aren’t you?

Really wish people wouldn’t live-quote that guy, but as long as I saw that, I might as well point out that something that’s directly attributable is pretty much always going to be ONE way. If you’re looking for [an]other way[s] to make that thing attributable, that brings you into indirectly territory.

I for one am willing to believe he’s descended from apes.

Don’t you mean not yet descended from the apes - the non-intelligent ones, that is.

And men should wear hats. But not baseball caps, unless you’re a farmer, and never backward.

Some of us have descended further than others.

Is it okay for non-farmers to wear baseball caps if they’re baseball players?

And is there a “never backwards” exemption for catchers?

Baseball players must wear fedoras . . . and ties.

And frankly, not wearing a jacket during the game is an insult to the [del]Office of the President[/del] Sport of Baseball!

CMC fnord!

Baseball-style caps shall be prohibited from wear by all persons, with the following exceptions:

  1. Members of baseball or softball teams while actively engaged in the sport in question.

  2. Drivers of diesel-powered trucks or farm equipment.

Have I forgotten anyone?

Hot chicks with huge garbonzas, 'cause our eyes never get that far up anyway.

Hmm, the pony-tail-through-the-back-of-the-hat thing can be wicked cute on the right girl.

I shall issue my ruling shortly.

Rules don’t apply to cute chicks. She could run over your foot with a truck, the cop will write you a ticket for getting in her way! And he’ll get her phone number while you try to catch a bus to the hospital. Not that I’m bitter about it, or anything. Well, OK, maybe a little.

Perhaps, but 'twas liberal permissiveness that made him so.

'twas a gentle slope.

Yeah, but a few gazillion flies think shit tastes good too.

Just out of curiosity, do you think Maher should have lain into D.H. Hughley when he said that he, too, did not believe in evolution? I know he’s not a congressman, but he is fairly political.

Yes, I think he should have let him have it especially since he’s not a Congressman. Politicians often have to pander to their base as Jack Kingston did. D.L., I thought, had a little more intelligence than that. Apparently I was wrong. In fact I don’t think Maher laid into either one of them enough.
