From the thread on weather manipulation. I felt the last sentence wasn’t appropriate outside the pit:

Being unknowledgable about the causes of thunder in 750 AD isn’t a mark of low intelligence. Insisting people weren’t unknowledgable and superstitious on quite a few topics 100s and 1000s of years ago is.
