Repository of "Feud" / "Madness" ideas

First off, kudos to anyone who has taken on the chore of starting one of these threads. I certainly appreciate your efforts! Truth be told, I’m much too lazy to tabulate votes and compile results.

That doesn’t mean I don’t have an idea or two rattling around the old noggin. So I thought I’d start a thread for slackers such as myself…perhaps we might assist the highly motivated but temporarily uninspired?

A couple to start off:

“Todd Rundgren Madness”

“Family Feud: Petty Annoyances”

Anyone else?

Actually, while I’ve been enjoying watching the Madness games (and participating a few times), I’m wondering if it might be an idea to do a few by genre. For example, a “Heavy Metal Madness,” or “Disco Madness” or similar. Might be kind of fun to determine which is the favourite song in the genre, according to the Dopers.

Or, we could also run such a game for a early '80s UK group and have a Madness Madness.

Would like to see Pink Floyd.

Once we get enough bands out there, maybe a tourney between the final 4 from each band. NOT IT!

There actually was a very short lived Madness Madness thread about a week ago.
I would like to see some kind of Movie Madness games, broken down by era or genre. Such as comedy madness, action movie madness, porn madness, and so on.

I was wondering today if there would be enough people interested to make a Tom Waits madness worthwhile. Has U2 been done, they certainly have a strong enough body of work to use. I agree with anyone who’d like to see a metal/punk madness, I’d being willing to do the work if there’s interest.

I have an entire punk rock Feud ready to go complete with specialized intro; I’m afraid the tabulation program was a bit overwhelming for me. But, if anyone wants to do it, let me know.

I’ll score it, provided we can finish by tomorrow night. But I won’t answer very well. Not my genre! PM me the list.

(I am such a geek - I get off doing the spreadsheet. Props to the Mullinator!)

Oh, yes, I meant no offense to Mullinator. The program simplifies the task enormously. It’s just that I’m scared of spreadsheets. :smack:
