On the one hand he is totally untrustworthy, but on the other hand is he really stupid enough to try to run the same scam that he is about to be sent to prison for? OK, maybe there is just the one hand.
He probably figures he can run the con as Kitara and then after he gets the money, he’ll take off the dress and go back to being George - who denies Kitara even exists.
ETA: For those who think I meant something that involves Mr. Santos’s mistreatment, I didn’t. I meant simply that he’s a con artist of the first order, and he will undoubtedly be in his element to capitalize on his strengths there.
I’ve also heard that con men tend to be respected by the rest of the inmate population on account of their contriving ways to “beat the system”, though being incarcerated suggests they weren’t that good at it.
Would Trump if elected pardon Santos? It’s been observed that the two have a lot in common.
