To the thread at large: with no snark intended, attitudes like her’s honestly seem to result from a combination of just world hypothesis and a sort of Ideological Stockholm Syndrome (an ideology taking the place of an individual captor). I honestly want to look into this idea more WRT similar individuals as a group, because it could potentially explain a lot.

I am not comparing myself to the people who sacrifice for me or any of us. Just trying to remind you that it is the sacrifice they and their families make, so we all can complain,disagree etc. They do not complain about getting simple rations and they deserve far more than i.

That is your opinion and you have every right to it. I don’t recall ever stating that I was better than anyone or that if one disagrees with me they are nuts or stupid. I just stated that I lived and do live in better health than a lot of people I know who are much younger. You can live anyway you wish. I am not telling you or anyone how to live, just stating facts you can live your life and me mine. I am in my 80’s and in excellent health. I do not need help in my old age and do help a lot of people and they do not know who gave it to them call that what you wish. If that bother’s you then that is your problem ,not mine!
