Republicans have become the propoganda arm of Al Queda

Heh. Great line, wring!

Psychologist: “And where did your daddy touch you?”

Patient: (Hesitates slightly, quivering, almost crying, and, after hearing some reassuring words, finally points to the heart, and then to the amygdala portion of the brain).

He doesn’t strike me as one of those “half-a-loaf-is-better-than-none” types, actually.

Like most liberals, he’s amenable to compromise.

Oh, I’m sure he’d prefer his own brand of lunacy installed instead. One thing I’ve noticed about religious true believers over the years, however; many of them, perhaps most, hate secularism more than any rival religion. I think it’s because the simple existence of secularism ( or outright atheism ) undercuts their desire to regard their beliefs as necessary. Like all the religious types who simply can’t believe that any person can be moral without religion; they refuse to believe that religion is just an option. Or like the people who want The Wizard of Oz banned from scools because Dorothy solves her own problems, instead of letted God handle it.
