Best. Poster. Ever.
Although, I really like most of these from METROPOLIS
I’m not quite sure what’s so bad about the tagline only being good for the remake. On another note, the tagline didn’t give away any more plot than the trailer. People who went to see The Thing in 1982 already knew the alien hid under the guise of a human.
Sleepy Hollow teaser and the tag line “Heads Will Roll” was pretty good.

io9 cover foreign sci fi and fantasy posters from time to time. They had some Ghanian and Polish posters a while back, as well as some ridiculous Thai horror posters.

Seabiscuit - the clever trick here is that it’s made to appear as if the horse is so fast, the photographer couldn’t keep him in the shot.
i love that poster but the lightsabers are the wrong colors.
